After working in the financial industry for eight years with his focus on wealth management, Chad joined Renaissance Financial in 2005 and became a Shareholder in 2006. He enjoys working within the business markets on behalf of individuals and business owners and uses his work and life experiences to mentor new advisors in the firm. Chad has received Renaissance Financial Platinum Advisor* status as of 2021, and has enrolled with the Platinum Study Group at Renaissance. In addition, he is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Chad received his degree in finance from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK). He continues to stay up to date in the financial industry and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations. He was named a member of Securian Financial Services President’s Club* for his commitment to his clients in 2015, 2016, and 2017 and was named a member of the Chairman’s Club* in 2018.
He is active in his community, sitting on the board of directors of ACCESS Bank and the Elkhorn Public School Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching education and opportunities for students in the Elkhorn Public Schools District. Chad is also a trustee for the University of Nebraska Foundation. He is the president of “The Presenters” for Omaha Performing Arts, a group that supports the Omaha Performing Arts Education and Community Engagement programming. He is also the past president of the UNK Alumni Association Board and co-founder of the Loper Gridiron Club, a fundraising division of the UNK Football team.
Chad resides in Elkhorn with his wife, Jennifer, and daughters, Josie and Savannah. As a family, they are members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Shadow Ridge Country Club.

As an assistant to Chad Rutar, Lauren takes immense pride in her work and in the family-like community that makes Renaissance Financial unique. Seeing the passion and commitment shown to clients as they navigate their financial paths is inspiring to Lauren. A volunteer with Ronald McDonald House charities since 2013, Lauren's dedication to helping others is reflected in her studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she pursued elementary education. She received her bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Bellevue University. She has also attained her Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent license as well as her FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations. Before coming to Renaissance Financial, Lauren worked at Illuminate Financial Group as Director of Client Services where she handled new business, customer service and opened client accounts. She grew up in Omaha and continues to live there with Cobie, her beagle/dachshund mix.

As a former softball and volleyball coach, Kylee is no stranger to the importance of teamwork. Kylee received her bachelor’s degree from Wayne State College.
