Stephen Schott

Stephen began his career with Renaissance Financial as a trader in the Investment Advisory department. After three years of working "behind the scenes," he decided to make the switch to a Financial Advisor. Familiar with Renaissance Financial’s team-oriented culture along with the expertise of the firm’s support teams, Stephen is eager to assist clients in creating comprehensive financial strategies.

A graduate of Columbia College, Stephen earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He then started out his career in the financial industry as a Market Analyst at Westrock before joining Renaissance Financial as a Trader and Investment Advisory Specialist. In this role, Stephen was a vital member of the Renaissance Operations team and focused on placing trades as well as account maintenance. Stephen has obtained his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations. He has also earned the Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) designation.

Stephen grew up in St. Louis and currently lives in the Central West End area. He enjoys giving back to the community and is a current committee member for the St. Louis St. Jude Walk/Run and a board member of Art St. Louis, a small regional art nonprofit. Stephen is also passionate about photography and considers himself a major sci-fi enthusiast. He once even got to sit in the chair from the set of Star Trek during a visit to Seattle, WA.
