Ryan Murphy

A former intern at Renaissance Financial, Ryan Murphy gained valuable hands-on experience assisting clients during the financial planning process while still in college. Now, as an advisor with the same firm, Ryan looks forward to becoming even more immersed in Renaissance’s team-centric culture, while helping clients to reach their financial goals alongside a company full of driven co-workers.  

Since graduating from the University of Missouri with a degree in Personal Financial Planning, Ryan has gone on to increase his financial literacy through the completion of his Life and Health Insurance, Series 7, and Series 66 registrations. While he is eager to work with a diverse set of clients, Ryan especially looks forward to assisting families who have suffered traumatic events or life-altering injuries in the cultivating of their financial strategies. Ryan’s sister is a traumatic brain injury survivor, and as such he would like to use that experience to help other families who have undergone similar heartbreak in creating and implementing a financial strategy that would allow them to provide their loved ones with the care and support that they need.  

One of seven children, Ryan grew up in St. Louis with his six sisters, and still lives in his hometown with his dog, Ozzie, named for Cardinals legend Ozzie Smith.
