Tyson Howard

Tyson Howard joined Renaissance Financial because of the team-oriented and client-focused culture. With an extensive background in law enforcement, he is enthusiastic about working with law enforcement officers and public safety professionals. Taking a holistic approach to financial management, he aims to help his clients better prepare for the future and reach financial freedom.  

Before joining the firm, Tyson spent the last 12 years in law enforcement and public safety. He was assigned to the high-risk unit where he conducted criminal and fugitive investigations and supervised individuals on probation or parole with extensive criminal histories. Most recently, he worked as a Probation/Parole Officer III for the 4th Judicial District of Iowa for five years. Furthermore, he was a contributing columnist for a leading website in the criminal justice field and has experience serving as a coordinator for an executive board member of the Iowa Law Enforcement Intelligence Network. 

Tyson graduated with a degree in criminal justice from Buena Vista University and has an associates degree from North Central Missouri College. He then went on to obtain his FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as his Life and Health Insurance license. 

Tyson grew up in Unionville, Missouri, and now lives in Omaha. An adventure seeker, he has visited 15 countries. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, bicycling, hiking, reading, live music, and playing the guitar.
