Joy R. Straney
Joy’s commitment to helping others navigate their financial strategy is rooted in her past experience working as commodity merchandiser with both families and corporate operations. Her time as a client helped her to understand the importance of a financial advisor who crafts each strategy according to the needs of the unique situation.
Joy assists a wide range of clients and enjoys working with a variety of individuals and institutions. She is especially interested in young families and farm families who are passing down the heritage to the next generation.
A graduate of Murray State University with a B.S. in agriculture business, Joy is a member of both the Gamma Xi chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta and the St. Louis Agribusiness Club. She has been an avid volunteer with the Indiana 4-H club, the National FFA organization, and gives her time to St. Martin of Tours in Flaherty, Kentucky.
Joy grew up in Central Kentucky and now lives in McKinley Heights. She holds her Life, Accident, and Health Agent license, as well as FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
