Katy Kutnyak
With deep experience in customer service and sales, Katy was drawn to Renaissance Financial for its focus on putting clients first. She dedicates herself to developing customized financial strategies that fit each unique individual, capitalizing on the collaborative environment of the firm to help others succeed. Katy works with a wide range of clients, from those in real estate to small businesses and startups to families, individuals and women from all walks of life. She enjoys helping families with special needs by recommending strategies specific to their unique needs and also focuses on helping those approaching retirement and retirees achieve financial sense of security by reviewing existing policies and accounts to guide them through retirement.
Katy attended Western Michigan University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was the recipient of several awards and recognitions, including the Military Officers Association Scholarship in 2008, the Founder’s Club in 2016 for her work at Men’s Wearhouse, and the Paul Harris Fellowship—Rotary Certificate in 2018. She holds her Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent license, as well as FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Katy’s philanthropic endeavors have included the Animal Rescue Project of Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) and St. Mary’s Food Bank, in Phoenix. Currently, she is a Director on the Board for We’re Moving Forward!, an all-volunteer non-profit organization whose goal is to provide support and help make valuable connections for brain trauma survivors, their families, and caregivers that create an overall sense of inclusion by promoting community integration through social and recreational activities.
Katy loves to travel and even lived in Germany starting at the age of 16. Aside from being born in Ohio and growing up in Okemos, Michigan, Katy has lived in South Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Kalamazoo, Toledo and Germany. She currently resides in Phoenix but loves to fly home to spend time with her family.
