Garett Vance
Garett was drawn to Renaissance Financial because of its unique collaborative culture. He appreciates the combination of hard work and success along with the heavy emphasis on joint work with other financial professionals. Garett looks forward to assisting medical professionals, entrepreneurs, and families through the various stages of life and business including investment strategies, insurance services, and retirement strategies.
A graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia, Garett earned a degree in business with an emphasis in finance and banking. While at Mizzou, he was a member of the Chi Mu Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. A dedicated student, Garett was the recipient of the Black and Gold Scholarship from the University of Missouri, as well as the recipient of the AAA Scholarship through Phi Gamma Delta. He also participated in the Sangamon CEO Entrepreneurial workshops, a nontraditional classroom experience for high school seniors, where young entrepreneurs are inspired to become leaders in their community. Prior to joining Renaissance Financial, Garett had an internship at a bank where he analyzed commercial credit for businesses and individuals as well as reviewed the accuracy of completed loan forms. He also completed a Sales Externship with AT&T where he received foundational training in sales development. Garett holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations as well as his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent license.
Garett grew up in Springfield, Illinois, and now resides in the downtown area of Kansas City, Missouri. Passionate about giving back to the community, Garett volunteers his time with Blue Ridge Elementary School as well as the Foodbank of Central and Northeast Missouri. When he is not in the office, Garett loves to golf, travel, and attend concerts. He is an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago Bears and the St. Louis Cardinals. It is a goal of his to visit every Major League Baseball stadium.
