Ryan Finke, CFS®, CFP®

Financial Advisor
(314) 932-4391

After a year of interning for a senior advisor at Renaissance Financial, Ryan knew he found his home once he graduated. The invaluable learning experience consistently displayed to him the firm’s teamwork philosophy – that every member of the company works together to help ensure the financial success of each client. He also learned worthwhile skills to jumpstart his career such as preparing client retirement projections and reviews, ensuring the accuracy of the client portfolio allocations and forms, and helping answer any administrative questions regarding a client’s account access and paperwork. The internship proved how much he enjoys working with retirees, professionals and young families to help ensure a healthy financial future and prepare for a successful retirement.

While attending Saint Louis University (SLU), Ryan graduated magna cum laude and received a degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in music. In addition, he earned inductions into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society that recognizes a limited number of students exemplifying the very best in business studies, and Alpha Sigma NU, a Jesuit honor society that identifies students who demonstrate an intelligent appreciation of, and commitment to, ideals of Jesuit education, focusing on scholarship, loyalty and service. Ryan went on to attain his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent license and his FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations. He has also earned the Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) certification. Ryan’s ability to excel in academics has yielded the same results within the industry. In 2016, Ryan received the Excellence in Performance Award* and was named a member of the Focus Club* by Securian Financial Services Inc. for his production in the firm.

Ryan’s dedication to the community is evident in the immense time he spends giving back to St. Louis. While at SLU, Ryan participated in the Service Leadership Certificate Program, which provides undergraduate business students the opportunity to develop and hone their leadership skills while serving the St. Louis community. As a result, he earned a Service Leadership Certificate, which is awarded to students who complete 300 service hours and 24 leadership workshops. Most of his service hours were spent at Food Outreach, a food pantry whose mission is to provide nutritional support and enhance the quality of life of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS or cancer.

Ryan grew up in Jefferson City, MO and now resides in St. Louis. In his spare time he enjoys continuing his community service as well as playing the piano and keeping music as an integral part of his life.
