Gary Orf, CFA®

Gary has endured the ever-changing conditions of the investment industry since 1987. Most of that time has been spent as an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager for individuals, institutions, mutual funds, and private placement. Holding the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, Gary was pleased to join Renaissance Financial as Chief Investment Officer in 2011.

At Renaissance, Gary assists financial professionals and clients in building the strategies needed to develop investment portfolios that help meet their financial goals and objectives. His extensive knowledge covering equities, fixed income, options and mutual funds provides a broad background to help lead the Investment Advisory team. Along with the CFA® designation, Gary earned his BSBA in finance from the University of Missouri–Columbia, and an MBA in finance from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He also holds his FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 53, and 65 registrations.

Gary is active with the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Men's Club and lives in Chesterfield, MO along with his wife, Shelley. They are proud parents of two daughters and two sons.  In addition to being his kids' biggest fan, Gary enjoys small home improvement projects, traveling with Shelley to visit their college-bound children, and rooting for the Missouri Tigers.
