Charlie Ferretti
For Charlie, he has always had a great sense of pride in his community. This is what drove him to return to St. Louis after earning his finance degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He wanted to begin his career at home and give back to those that had provided him with so much over the years. He spent his early years attending Chaminade High School, volunteering for St. Nicholas’ annual Greek Festival, and cheering on St. Louis sports, so for him being a part of the community has always been important.
To begin his career in the financial industry, Charlie went beyond earning a degree. As an intern, he worked with Asset Consulting Group dealing with hedge fund research, and then went on to learn another side of things by working for Oppenheimer Company as an assistant to an advisor. From there, he went on to attain his Life, Accident, and Health Agent license, as well as FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations. At this point, Charlie knew his experience had helped give him the foundation needed to become a financial advisor and he chose Renaissance Financial because it gave him a strong platform for working with those in his community. He is impressed with the connections that Renaissance has throughout St. Louis and is drawn to the team atmosphere. This team allows him to provide his clients with creative solutions to help them reach their financial goals. He finds the varying tools offered through Renaissance vital to his work with families in helping them prepare for their financial future, this involves everything from college funding to retirement strategies. In addition to business professionals and entrepreneurs, Charlie specializes in accountants, creative professionals, and retirees. He continues to show his commitment in everything he does and as a financial advisor, he brings this enthusiasm to each meeting and creates a lasting relationship to help guide his clients through the years.
In his spare time, Charlie enjoys golf, squash, and being around his clients. You will also see Charlie wholeheartedly dedicating himself to each project he becomes involved in. While attending the University of Missouri he was student manager for the Mizzou basketball team, as they became the Big 12 Champions. He continues to stay immersed in the community by supporting the St. Louis Chapter of Mizzou’s Young Alumni. Charlie is also a member of the Missouri Athletic Club Associate’s Board and the Phi Kapp Theta of Mizzou Alumni Board.
