Spencer Schmitz

Spencer Schmitz started his career as a financial professional with Renaissance Financial in 2006 and left in 2011 to return to his hometown in Montana. There he worked his way up to Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors until April 2019. Drawn to Renaissance Financial’s culture, he is back working one-on-one with clients, helping them achieve their goals for retirement. 

Spencer enjoys working on estate planning and retirement strategies with those who are less than 10 years away from retirement and need assurance that it can be done. As a Financial Advisor, he helps his clients create a pathway with the goal of bridging their hard work to the life they want to live. 

A graduate of Carroll College, Spencer has a degree in business administration and management. He then went on to obtain his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations as well as his Life and Health Insurance license.  

Raised in Helena, Montana, Spencer now lives in the greater Omaha area in Nebraska with his wife Kris and three sons; Eli who is 6, Bridger who is 3, and A.J. who is 2 years old. Outside of the office, you can find him enjoying time with his family by golfing, skiing, fishing, and traveling. He also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity building homes within the Helena area and looks forward to getting more involved in the Omaha community.
