Ryan Schmidt

Ryan Schmidt knew he wanted to start a career at Renaissance Financial after his first day as a summer intern, where he was immediately struck by the level of care and kindness shown to him by the firm's other employees. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting, Ryan worked at the Nebraska Trust Company for 9 months, before getting the opportunity to join Renaissance full-time as a financial advisor.

Having already earned his Nebraska Life and Health, Series 7, and Series 66 designations, Ryan seeks to leverage his knowledge of estate and retirement strategies to help his clients design and follow the financial roadmap that best meets their individual needs. Ryan enjoys working with a wide variety of clients but is especially passionate about assisting young couples, small business owners, and young professionals who have just started their first job out of college, in building investment strategies that can help them grow their savings and secure their long-term financial futures.

Ryan grew up in Omaha and enjoys spending summer weekends with his family at the Lake of Ozarks. He currently resides in Elkhorn, NE, and is an accomplished cornhole player, winning first place in the Omaha Corporate Games as a key member of the Renaissance Financial Team.
