Julia Petersen

Julia joined Renaissance Financial because of the dynamic culture offered through teamwork, exceptional client service and a solid moral compass. Through strong investment and valuable training, Renaissance’s team of experts is able to assist Julia in offering her clients a high level of service as well as the help and attention they deserve. The simple, moral foundation of listening, advising and working together toward common goals for people is exactly how Julia believes her clients should be treated.

With a strong background in management, customer service and finance, the transition to helping others achieve financial freedom was a natural one. Prior to joining the Renaissance team, Julia was highly successful in the automotive industry as a third-generation manager and the first female Finance Director for Jack Miller Auto Group in Kansas City, MO. Her professional training, awards and honors include the Subaru Award of Excellence, Subaru Stellar Performer, Daimler/Chrysler Dealer Academy and General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) Finance Management Academy. Julia graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in business management and attained her Life Accident and Health Insurance License, as well as FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.

Outside of the office, Julia has spent numerous hours serving her community through Rotary International, a service organization of over 1.2 million members that come together to create positive, lasting change in their local communities and around the world. She qualified as a Paul Harris Fellow and for almost 20 years has served Rotary in many capacities including president, vice president, secretary and sergeant-at-arms. Julia is also a member of PEO – a philanthropic organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to young women worldwide. Julia grew up in Kansas City, MO and now resides in Omaha, NE with her husband, Eric, and sons, Andrew and Matthew.
