Steve Kontz, CLU, ChFC®

Prior to joining Renaissance Financial, Steve was a Vice President with Securian Advisor Services, leading all field management, sales, and retention for their Individual Division. Steve graduated from Mankato State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business-Marketing. Steve holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College, as well as the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Steve is currently on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Board, the Mid-America Council Board of Trustees for the Boy Scouts and is involved with the University of Nebraska Med Center Child Life Department, and Ducks Unlimited. He also sits on the Creighton School of Business Advisory Council.

Steve and his wife Kelly have two boys, Nick and Alex. They reside in Omaha, Nebraska.

Cindy Vendetti - Assistant

Cindy has worked with Steve for over 10 years and brought a tremendous amount of financial knowledge to the team. The experienced she gained from working at Prudential Financial for over 30 years helped make her a valuable asset to advisors, staff and most importantly clients. Cindy has attained her Associate Customer Service designation and is part of the LOMA Program. She not only acts as the Executive Assistant to Steve, but she has the role of Office Manager as well. Cindy is not only a tremendous asset to Renaissance Financial, but to the community as well. She has worked closely with the UNMC Child Life Department for over 20 years. She is a great wife, mother and a very proud grandmother.
