Growing up on the family farm, Shannon quickly learned the importance of hard work, the privilege of having a good team and the value of nurturing your labor. These lessons were all key in bringing Shannon to his career as a financial advisor and assisted him in making the decision to join Renaissance Financial. Here he is able to help people, surrounded by a great team. Through hard work, Shannon is able to assist his clients in developing the right financial strategy for them. He does not put them in a cookie-cutter plan, but rather evaluates their current situation and compares it to their future aspirations. With the right financial tools he is able to help his clients navigate towards their future goals, and he will be by their side throughout the many life stages should the strategy need to be updated. Like farming, the right seed in the right soil can prosper if given the right care and attention. He nurtures his clients needs and helps them in achieving their goal of a comfortable retirement, college funding for the next generation or even family support should life not go as planned. Beyond helping families, Shannon can also be beneficial in helping small business owners invest in their employees and help prepare the business for their future as well. In preparing himself for his career, Shannon attended the University of Missouri. At the University he earned a degree in Agricultural Economics and minored in Personal Financial Planning. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, graduated Cum Laude and is proud to be a part of the MU Alumni Association. Beyond the classroom education, he spent time as an intern at UMB Bank and FCS Financial. This coupled with working as an Office Manager for Weber Brothers Farm solidified the path for his profession. He has attained his Life Accident and Health Insurance License, as well as FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations for Missouri. Shannon is also a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He grew up in St. Charles, Missouri and is proud to still call this area home. He is a Registered Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc.
