John has been an advisor with Renaissance Financial for over twelve years. He specializes in working with individuals and their families to develop, implement and maintain comprehensive strategies to help reach their financial goals. For his business owner and entrepreneur clients, John works closely with Renaissance team members to provide assistance in the design and management of their benefits packages, retirement solutions and tactics for transitioning their businesses. John believes that the backbone of his business is service, and he focuses on this by taking incredible care to ensure his clients feel like he has gone the extra mile for them.

John has also gone above and beyond as a team member for the firm. He is a shareholder of Renaissance Financial, and a mentor to the new advisors. In 2011, he also achieved the status of being a Platinum Advisor. This shows his dedication not only to the team, but also to his profession.

John is a supporter of the Humane Society of Missouri, Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, and the Thompson Foundation for Autism, where he serves as a committee member for the foundation’s Annual Dinner Gala. A St. Louis native, he grew up in Kirkwood, where he currently resides with his wife, Maggie, along with their three children, Lily, Genevieve, and Jack. John graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics.
