After working in the industry as a Financial Planner for 8 years, Chad joined Renaissance Financial in 2005 and became a Shareholder in 2006. His focus is on wealth management and he enjoys working within the business markets on behalf of individuals and business owners. Chad also uses his work and life experiences to mentor new advisors in the firm. Renaissance has awarded him with Platinum Advisor Status, and Chad is enrolled with Platinum Study Group. In addition, he is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Chad received his degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He maintains membership in NAIFA and is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, which represents less than 1% of the top sales professionals in the life insurance-based financial services business. He has been part of the MDRT Court of the Table for three years in a row and a selected participant in Class VI of the State Chamber’s Leadership Nebraska Program.

He is active in his community, sitting on the board of Live Well Omaha. Chad is the Past President of the UNK Alumni Board and Co-Founder of the Loper Gridiron Club, a fundraising division of the UNK Football team.

Chad resides in Elkhorn with his wife, Jennifer and daughters, Josie and Savannah. As a family, they are members of St. Patrick's Church in Elkhorn and Champions Run Golf Course.

Jamie Borman - Assistant

Jamie joined the Renaissance Financial team in 2008, as an assistant to Chad Rutar. She adds tremendous value by taking on client service as well as administrative duties. Before joining the firm, Jamie attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with an emphasis in Marketing. She then gained experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager as well as an Executive Assistant. Jamie has since attained her Life Accident and Health Insurance Agent License, as well as FINRA Series 6 and 63. Her positive attitude is appreciated within the office and in the community. She is proud to be the Walk Coordinator for the Nebraska Chapter of Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. She was born, raised and currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband Matt and their two wonderful children Gabrielle & Cooper.
