Ben was two weeks into his freshman semester at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln when the tragedies of September 11th, 2001 changed his life. He called the Marine Corps recruiter that day and began his eight years of active military service. His ability to plan with great attention to detail was refined during three deployments to Iraq as a forward observer and combined arms controller, and his two years of duty as a formal school instructor. Always seeking a new challenge, Ben transitioned out of the Marines in January of 2010.

Ben had completed two years of college while in the service and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in Administration. As financial advisor at Renaissance Financial, Ben pursues his desire to serve others. Ben finds that, once again, he is supported by a team of individuals that are motivated by a common mission. The individual strengths of each advisor are combined into a collective ability to afford the best counsel for his clients. Ben provides holistic advice on a variety of issues to help each client achieve their desired financial goals. He wants to educate as many people as possible but is drawn to serve veterans, families, and small businesses.

Outside of the workplace, Ben continues to give back by working with the Wounded Warrior Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, the Veterans Administration, and the Knights of Columbus.
